David Morrison, Psy.D.

David Morrison, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist in private practice in California and a member of the California Psychological Association. Dr. Morrison has worked closely with treatment center programs since 2005, providing consultation and evaluation services. He has extensive experience with residential and outpatient programs serving adolescents and adults and their families. In his private practice, he provides evaluation services, individual therapy, group therapy, parent coaching, consultation services, and he has been a guest speaker many times. Since 1991, Dr. Morrison has worked with individuals on the Autism Spectrum. He also has work experience as a direct care staff and program manager for residential programs.

Dr. Morrison is married and has three young adult daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends surfing, camping, cooking, and playing cornhole. Noting his professional, personal, and athletic background, Dr. Morrison enjoys and values the multidisciplinary team approach at Awakenings. “I have had the privilege and honor of working with highly skilled professionals that go above and beyond the call of duty.
