Melissa Gibbs, MA

Intake Coordinator

Melissa Gibbs, MA, began working in mental health treatment as a residential technician in 2013. In the last 11 years, Melissa has also served as an Office Manager, Quality Assurance Specialist, Contract and Compliance Manager, Program Manager and now is enjoying her role as Admissions Coordinator. Melissa has bachelor’s degrees in education and Latin American studies and a master’s degree in education. Melissa furthered her education by becoming a Drug and Alcohol Counselor and now utilizes her experience and education to coordinate care, helping families and clients to feel safe during their intake process at Awakenings.
